Institutional Review Board
The stake application Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a function of the Provost’s Office and exists to assure the rights and welfare of human participants in research. All research involving human participants conducted by stake application faculty, staff, or students must be reviewed and approved by the IRB before the research is initiated. Non-stake application affiliated researchers seeking to conduct research with stake application faculty, staff, or students are also required to have IRB approval.
Please note: The IRB cannot approve an application submitted after the research is initiated.
